Fights

We love a good fight, but only when it’s a fair one. Skill, respect, and heart always come before ego.

The ring is where training, discipline, and mindset are put to the test.

Fighting is an essential part of Muay Thai culture, and it holds an important place within the Koh Yao Naga universe too.

It can be a place of growth, challenge, humility, and transformation.
Since opening our doors in December 2025, Koh Yao Naga fighters have stepped into the ring around 20 times already, competing in events across the region. From first-time amateur bouts to experienced fighters pursuing bigger opportunities, we take great pride in supporting our athletes throughout their journey.

For those interested in fighting, you are in very capable hands.

Whether your goal is to experience your first fight, gain ring experience, or pursue competition at a high level, we can help guide you through that process with honesty and care.

That said, we believe deeply in responsible matchmaking.

The growing commercialization of Muay Thai tourism has created environments where unfair matchups are sometimes normalized. In some cases, fighters are paired despite obvious imbalances in experience, preparation, physical condition, or access to resources.

Too often, underprivileged Thai fighters are matched against foreigners who can afford intensive fight camps, superior nutrition, recovery support, and extended preparation. While these fights may generate money and entertainment, they do not always reflect the true spirit of Muay Thai.

At Koh Yao Naga, we believe fighting should remain rooted in respect.

01
Respect for the art.
02
Respect for the fighters.
03
Respect for safety.
04
Respect for fairness.
This means one simple thing:
Under Naga management, fights will be fair, or they will not happen.

Not everyone who trains with us wants to fight, and that is perfectly okay.

You do not need to step into the ring to experience the beauty of Muay Thai. For many people, the practice itself is already transformative.

But for those who do hear the call of competition, we will help you prepare the right way, physically, mentally, and ethically.
